Every woman is at risk for breast cancer. The risk of developing breast cancer increases as a woman ages, if she has a family history of breast cancer, has never had children or had her first child after age 30. Breast cancer cannot be prevented, but it can be detected at an early, treatable stage. While the most common warning sign of breast cancer is a lump or thickening of the breast, you might not be able to feel a lump until it has grown bigger. Our breast self-exam pad is a medical device, which consists of two plastic sheets with liquid sealed in between. It is intended to be used as an aid for performing breast self examination. It reduces friction between your fingers and breast, and may provide for an easier and more comfortable exam. It clings lightly to your skin and when you place your fingers on the pad and press firmly against it, your fingers will glide smoothly across your breast. Click icon for additional info.
